We grabbed some pancake mix as well. Even after Thanksgiving, I am still seeing the holiday foods on sale at Wal-Mart. I was eyeing the canned pumpkin and sweet potatoes as they are loaded with lots of vitamins. Dry soup mixes would be a good item to look for as well. They don't take up much space so you could put a few pouches in your 72 hour kit.

Thanks for the post Wanda.

I stocked up on Batter Blaster organic pancake mix that was on-sale at safeway. I can make them so quickly and there's no clean up or waste. I also stocked up on cans of Starkist tuna and Amy's Organic soups. Having these on hand saves me from going out to eat or ordering take out when there's nothing in the fridge.
