I found that I was averaging about 5 gls. a day. Flushed the toilet 2x, water for coffee and my 4 cats and for minimum cleaning of pots. 1 gallon a day is for drinking only, just not sufficient for any lenghts of time.   Not too long ago we had a power outage which lasted for several days.
