Watermelon Lemonade

Because some watermelons are sweeter than others, be sure to taste the watermelon first. If it’s very sweet, reduce the sugar.

Watermelon Lemonade

  1. Working in batches as necessary, purée watermelon and lemon juice in blender until smooth; transfer to a large container. Tip: putting the purée through a fine sieve may help to remove some chunks that are still be present.
  2. Add water and sugar; stir until dissolved. 
  3. Pour over ice in tall glasses, garnish with mint and thin slices of watermelon, if desired, and serve chilled.
