Rainbow Swiss Chard is a special green that handles both hot and cold temperatures well. Plant seeds 12 to 18 inches apart in fertile, nitrogen-rich soil (blood meal or compost manure is ideal) and water immediately. Water 1.5 inches per week and harvest outer leaves as soon as they are large enough to eat.
