As 2011 is coming to a close, I am taking time to look back, and am most thankful for the gift of another year to prepare, the knowledge I was lucky enough to learn, the relationships I cultivated, and the changes I see within myself as a result of the last 12 months.

No doubt many of you have changed as a result of adopting a preparedness mindset. Change is the only constant in this crazy universe and will happen whether you like it or not. Rather than viewing change as an unnecessary stress and resisting it altogether, embrace it and become fluid with it. Learning to be more fluid and respectful of change in your day-to-day life will help you adapt to it more quickly.

As I continue onward in my preparedness journey, I look forward to what is around the corner. Whatever it may be, I know it will be in my best interest because, after all it is in God’s plan. I read once that when God prunes us it is a necessary pain and one that will create beauty and make us healthier.

That being said, I hope all of you had a productive year and have made positive changes in your life. Without further adieu, here is a list of the top articles of 2011 for Ready Nutrition.

Thanks to you all for continuing to come come back to this website to get information on preparedness and homesteading.

Warmly,

Tess Pennington
