Description
Plant Green Sprouting Broccoli seeds in mid to late Summer. Broccoli loves full sun, especially when grown in cooler Fall weather. Too much shade causes legginess and slow maturation. Plants bear five to six-inch heads. Crop holds well for up to several weeks after maturing. Harvest the main crown before flower buds open for peak flavor. Encourage new side shoot production by harvesting regularly. Green Sprouting Broccoli will produce a second, smaller harvest later in the season if left dormant during the hottest part of the Summer.
